Vice Principal's Message
To the Jewish Girls's School Family.
'Not Failure But Low Aim is Crime'-Our school motto which inspires every student to aim high in life. The motton lays the foundation of a student's life from the time she sets foot in school as a toddler till the time when she blossom into a confident, dynamic young lady and steps out of the school-ready to face the challenges and take the wolrd in her stride.
We are proud to indroduce to you our 3rd edition of magazine 'Genesis' which portrays the student's talent in prosr, poetry, paitning and drawing. Many of the ex-students have also second home' though their messages. Through this magazine we would like to convey a message to all the students "in order to reach the top of the ladder, one must begin form the lowest rung".
The Jewish Girls' School team is taking baby steps towards achieving it's motto. We have initiated and supported innovation and change within the curriculum and teaching practice redefining the vision of the teacher. In addition to academics we are also trying to develop and enhance a plethora of skills. We are also trying to give the girls exposure to a number of co-curricular activites in which they are faring quite well while participating in various inter-school meets. The various clubs like the Quiz club, Nature club, Guides and Bulbuls etc. helps much in the development of the overall personality of the child and helps in building their confidence while making school life an enjoyable experience at the same time.
The formation of "Akhot Alumnae"-the school Alumni association is small measure in helping the ex-students rebond with their childhood friends while some of them want to do something for their Alma Mater in Mater in whatever capacity they with their childhood friends while some of them want to do something for their Alma Mater in whatever capacity they can.
We have a whole lot of co-curricular activities in school. Different inter-house and inter-school competitions spread throughout the year has helped in imbibing a sence of patriotism and loyalty towards one's house and one's school.
It is our team of co-ordinators and teachers at Jewish Girls' School who have contributed in their own way for the overall upliftment of the school. The co-curricular as well as curricular accolades which the girls have won speaks volumes in themselves. Like each year Board results speak for itself. This year Uzma Kalim topped in I.C.S.E Examination from our school. The I.S.C toppers of our school are; Tahseen Fatema (Sc.), Sana Hossain (Comm.), Prachi Gupta (Hum.), Remedial classes are organized after school for students who are weak in academics.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Student's Council members who have always been there behind us.Our strongest support has come from the encourgement of those who stand silently with us-our Management and our supportive parents. I express my heartfelt gratitude towards each and everyone of the Jewish Girls' School family - from the Management, the Principal, the teachers, the administrative staff, the support staff, the parents and our dear students. Our dreams cannot be realize without the support of any one of the Jewish Girls' School family member, as we work together to nature the future nations builders.
Jewish Girls' School has achieved continuing success in serving and helping the girl child to make an 'IDENTITY' for herself for the last 137 years. We hope that by gaining 'education' our girl are able to carve a better place for themselves in the modern competitive wolrd of today.
